2026 race report

Tremp ran once again in memory of Antoni Camarasa on Saturday 31 October. Organised by Tremp Runners, the event reached its seventeenth edition with a start from the Plaça del Mercat at half past nine and a 16.5-kilometre trail with around 450 metres of climbing along the paths and tracks of the municipality.
The field grew compared with last year: the results show 105 finishers, 78 men and 27 women, up from 91 in 2025. A nine-kilometre walk was held alongside the race for those who prefer to enjoy the surroundings without racing.
Josep Juangran Monso won the men's race in 1:16:09, a comfortable victory by 3:42 and a step up after finishing second a year ago. Berta Gasol Cudos took the women's race in 1:30:29, more than four minutes ahead of the next finisher and two minutes quicker than the winning time in the women's race in 2025.
The weather favoured the runners. Tremp woke up under cloud at about 12 degrees, with no troublesome wind and no rain. The cloud broke up as the morning went on, and by the time the last runners were coming in the sun was out and it was close to 15 degrees: very kind conditions for a trail race of this length in the Pyrenean autumn.
For anyone considering it next year, the Camarasa is a very approachable first mid-distance trail: the climbing is moderate, the entry fee includes a T-shirt and breakfast, and bibs can be collected on Saturday morning itself in the Plaça del Mercat. A good excuse to combine a race with a trip to the Pallars Jussà at the end of October.
