Cookie policy

1. What cookies are

Small files a website stores in your browser to remember something between pages: that you are logged in, the language you chose or, for advertising, that you arrived from an ad.

2. Necessary cookies (no permission needed)

The site does not work without them, so they don't need your consent:

  • Session (sb-…-auth-token, VEMAX Sport): keep you logged in. They last until you log out.
  • Language (NEXT_LOCALE, VEMAX Sport): remembers the language if you change it.
  • Watch connection (polar_oauth_state, wahoo_oauth_state, coros_oauth_state, coros_pkce, hammerhead_oauth_state, suunto_oauth_state, from VEMAX Sport): protect the connection with your watch brand while you authorise it. They last a few minutes.
  • Your workspace (vemax:club, vemax:sombrero, vemax_grupo_atletas and vemax_empieza_quitado, from VEMAX Sport): remember the club you work in, the role you signed in with (coach, physio or nutritionist), the athlete group you chose and the start cards you closed. You set them by using those screens and they last between 3 months and a year.

We also store in your own browser (these are not cookies and never leave it) your light or dark theme choice, whether you closed the notice bar and your choice about these cookies.

3. Analytics without cookies

To know which pages are visited we use Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't store your IP address: it counts visits in an aggregated, anonymous way.

4. Advertising cookies (only if you accept)

If you accept, we load the pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook and Instagram) to know whether our ads bring visits, sign-ups and registrations, and so Meta can show our ads to people with similar interests. If you don't accept, it is not loaded and nothing is sent to Meta.

  • _fbp (Meta): tells your browser apart between visits. Lasts 3 months.
  • _fbc (Meta): only created if you arrive from an ad, to know which one. Lasts 3 months.

We tell Meta which public VEMAX Sport pages you visit (never those in your private area), whether you complete sign-up and whether you confirm a registration. Never your name, your email or any data about your training or your health. Meta may process this data outside the European Economic Area under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More in Meta's privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.

5. How to change your choice

You can change it whenever you like with this button. If you withdraw permission, we stop sending anything to Meta and delete its cookies. Your choice lasts one year; then we ask again. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

6. More information

For everything else about your data, see the privacy policy or write to us at info@vemaxsport.com.
