Terms and conditions for professionals
Last updated: 25 August 2026
Looking for the terms as a player or as an organiser? See the Terms for players and the Terms for organisers.
1. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms govern your presence as a professional in the VEMAX Sport directory (hereinafter, "the Platform"), operated by the entity identified in the Legal notice. They add to the general Terms you accepted when creating your user account. By requesting to join the directory, you accept them in full.
2. What the professionals directory is
The directory is a showcase where you can voluntarily publish a profile to promote yourself, and where organisers can contact you or publish collaboration offers. VEMAX Sport does not hire you, represent you, or take part in your professional activity.
3. You are not an employee or representative of VEMAX Sport
You act as an independent professional, on your own behalf. Nothing in these Terms or in your presence in the directory creates an employment, agency, representation or corporate relationship between you and VEMAX Sport.
4. You are responsible for your own qualification and insurance
It is your responsibility to hold the qualification, professional association membership or federation licence, and the professional civil liability insurance your activity requires under applicable regulations.
What the "documentation reviewed" seal means. Before publishing your profile, VEMAX Sport reviews the federation licence documentation you provide (the document and the declared number) and records this with the wording "[Federation] licence documentation reviewed on [date]". This statement is exclusively a factual statement about that review and that date: that a document with that information was submitted and examined. It does not mean VEMAX Sport has confirmed its authenticity with the relevant federation — no public register exists for that purpose —, it is not an assessment of your quality, competence, experience or suitability, and it does not amount to a recommendation, endorsement, certification or guarantee by VEMAX Sport.
5. Your relationship with whoever contacts you
Any agreement, engagement or collaboration arising from the directory or a published offer is entered into directly between you and the organiser or player who contacts you. VEMAX Sport is not a party to that relationship, does not take part in its financial or employment terms, receives no commission from it and is not liable for its performance. Each party is responsible for complying with the applicable labour, tax, sports and child-protection regulations.
6. Your profile's content
The content of your profile (bio, experience, qualifications and other information, other than the licence reviewed by VEMAX Sport) is written and updated by you, under your own responsibility. VEMAX Sport does not verify that content.
7. Removal of your profile
Your profile automatically stops being visible when your licence expires, until you upload a new one. You can remove it yourself at any time from your dashboard. VEMAX Sport may also remove your profile or an offer, without prior notice, where there are reasonable grounds to believe the information provided is false or is no longer accurate, where you breach these Terms, or where applicable regulations require it.
8. Permitted use of your contact details
Data published in your profile may only be used to contact you through the channels offered by the Platform. Mass or automated scraping, reuse to build databases, and use for unrelated advertising or promotional purposes are prohibited.
9. Minors
If your professional activity involves regular contact with minors, it is your responsibility to comply with the child-protection regulations applicable to you, including any legally required certificates.
10. Intellectual property
The VEMAX Sport brand, and the Platform's design and code, belong to VEMAX Sport. The content of your profile that you provide remains yours.
11. Changes
VEMAX Sport may update these Terms. Significant changes will be notified by email or via a notice on the Platform before they take effect.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, both parties submit to the Spanish courts with territorial jurisdiction under the Spanish Civil Procedure Act (LEC).
